Vanilla Iced Coffee
Hi Everyone, I usually don’t add sugar to my coffee drinks every day but every once in a while, I like to have a sweet coffee drink, especially as the weather temps get warmer.
A drink like this, yummy, Vanilla Iced Coffee, is great in the morning or as an afternoon pick-me-up.
This recipe includes a recipe for Vanilla Coffee Creamer, so you will probably have extra for the week to use.
I use my Homemade Vanilla extract, which I link to below:

What kind of dairy/milk should I use for this Vanilla Iced Coffee?
You can use milk, half and half, or evaporated milk (which I used in the photos) or you can make it dairy-free/vegan by using any favorite non-dairy, plant-based milk, like, soy, oat, cashew, almond, rice, etc. milk (the color might be lighter and the flavor would be different depending on what you use).

How Should I Brew my coffee for this Vanilla Iced Coffee recipe?
I did the Pour Over Coffee method for brewing this coffee in this Vanilla Iced Coffee recipe but you can brew the coffee really however you prefer, like Cold Brew (related: Cold Brew Iced Coffee), automatic drip, etc.
I linked (Amazon affiliate links) to the exact Cosori pour-over coffee canter and the Cosori Gooseneck kettle in the recipe card at the end of the post.

Vanilla Iced Coffeeis a cold, sweet, creamy, vanilla-infused coffee drink, perfect for warm weather!
Ingredients
- 8-16 ounces brewed coffee
Vanilla Coffee Creamer
- 1-2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1-2 tablespoons sugar (or substitute the same amount confectioner's sugar)
- 1 cup half and half, cream or evaporated milk, or non-dairy milk (soy, rice, cashew, oat, almond milk, etc) depending on your preference
Instructions
- To Make the Vanilla Coffee Creamer: In a medium mixing bowl, add the half and half, cream or evaporated milk (or another dairy/non-dairy option suggested), sugar (adjust the amount to taste), and pure vanilla extract, using a handheld electric mixer, mix the ingredients until blended evenly. Save the Vanilla Coffee Creamer in a lidded mason jar, and store in the refrigerator.
- To Make the Vanilla Iced Coffee: If you are starting with hot coffee, pour it over ice to get it cold, and then add the vanilla coffee creamer (amount to taste) and mix to combine, enjoy! If you are starting with chilled coffee, all you have to do is just add the prepared vanilla coffee creamer to the black coffee and mix to combine, and enjoy with or without ice.
