Obituaries Heltah Skeltah member Sean Price dead at 43 MCLANE, DONALD C. ASSOCIATED PRESS NEW YORK A hip-hop artist credited with influencing New York's rap movement in the 1990s as a member of the duo Heltah Skeltah has died. Sean Price was 43. The rapper's record label, Duck Down Music, said in a statement to The Associated Press that Price died early Saturday in his Brooklyn apartment. The statement said the cause of death was not immediately known.

Donald was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He always put his family's needs ahead of his own. He worked very hard to successfully provide his wife and children many years of spiritual, emotional, and physical well- being. He will be sorely missed by all but they are comforted by that fact that he is now with Jeannette whom he has missed so much.

Roni was born in Belfast Ireland on June 3rd, 1934. After moving Stateside as a young girl she was raised in Brooklyn, NY. She was an avid golfer and active in the Catholic Women's Club. As a member of Winged Foot Golf Club, Roni was the Niners Champion in 1986. She enjoyed playing Bridge with herdearfriends at the club in her later years.

Roni was a dedicated mother and is survived by her three children, Eugene Jr of Brewster, NY, Nancy Robbins of Ellicott City, MD and Paul Hallahan of Ridgef ield, CT. He was born February 19, 1927 in Mt Kisco to the late Annette and Carl L. Jacobson. He is the stepson of the late Edith Vera Jacobson. Educated in the Pleasantville public schools, he graduated from Clarkson University in 1945 with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.

He joined General Precision Laboratories in Pleasantville as an aeronautical engineer and remained with the company and it's successors until his retirement in 1991. On June 16, 1951, he married Joan Meyn, a Pleasantville High School classmate in the Pleasantville Presbyterian Church where they were both members. She predeceased him in May 2014. He is survived by his daughter Karen Jacobson, her husband Tom Molholm and their daughter Claire. A daughter, Betsy Jacobson, predeceased him in 2007.

At the General Precision Companies, Carl was a manager on many government programs involving radar navigation systems for military aircraft and missiles. He loved sailing starting at age 12 and sailed on Long Island Sound for 37 years. Carl was an unassuming rocket scientist, devoted husband and loving father. He will be remembered Sunday August 16 at the Pleasantville Presbyterian Church service and there will be a private gathering in Somers to celebrate his life on Sunday September 20. SCHEINKMAN, GERTRUDE Gertrude E. Scheinkman, 94 of Somers, New York, passed away on August 8, 2015. Gertrude was born in Newark, New Jersey on July 17, 1921 to Joseph and Sadie (Pearlman) Einhorn. Devoted wife to the late Henry Scheinkman who were married on June 11, 1949. Beloved mother to Alan and his wife Faith, Steven and his wife Nina and James and his wife Cindy.

He served as an Electrician's Mate on the USS Hopping (DE 185) and then the USS Tercel (MS 387). He was honorably discharged in in May of 1946.

He took a job with the Western Electric Co in June of 1946 and married his one and only love, Jeannette Cullen, on August 31 1946 at St Raymond's church in the Bronx, NY. They were married over 62 years when she passed away in 2009. He received his high school diploma in June of 1949 from Theodore Roosevelt Evening High School also in the Bronx, NY. In November of 1960 he and the family moved to New Rochelle, NY. He was a 38 year member of Holy Family parish.

He and Jeannette were among the first group of Eucharistic Ministers. He was a 20 year member of the Larchmont Shore Club. He retired from Western Electric in October of 1984 after 38 years of service. He then worked part-time for Fred McGrath and Sons' Funeral Home for the next several years. In 1998 he and Jeannette moved to the Ocean City, MD area to more fully enjoy retirement.

Unfortunately, Jeannette developed Alzheimer's disease and Donald spent the next 11 years selflessly caring for his beloved wife. After her death he moved to "The Gardens" Assisted Living in Danbury, CT to be closer to his children. The family will receive visitors as they celebrate his life on Monday from 4 to 8 PM at the Fred H. McGrath and Son Funeral Home, Bronxville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial, Holy Family Church, New Rochelle at 10:30 on Tuesday August 11th.

Barbara J. Pistone (nee Matte) of Yonkers died on Wednesday August 5, 2015 at age 83. Mrs. Pistone worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Yonkers Board of Education. On October 14, 1951 she married Augustine J. Pistone in Our Lady of the Rosary Church; He died on June 4, 2004.
